Precautions:

1、Wash hands before touching the filter and rinse the filter with cold water for 15seconds.

If you found the black grains in water, please don't worry!  they are the activated carbon in the filter, used for reducing peculiar odor and chemical substances in water.  Since the activated carbon is easy to crash during the transportation, it is recommended to discard the first two filtered water when first time using the filter.  Tese grains will not cause any negative impact on health, if you drink them accidently, they will be excreted from the body and will not cause any harm to your health.

2、Do not use hot water, above 100.4 ℉ (38 ℃).

3、Change filter every 60 gallons or approximately every 60days.

4、First time filter use instructions: Clean the filter with running water aboutfor 1 minute,then put the filter soak into water and shake gentlyfor 1 minute.  This is the best way to use the filter, will not leak, will smoothly flow of filtration.
