Precautions:

Instructions for using the filter: 

- Wash your hands before touching the filter, then rinse the filter with cold water for at least 15 seconds. 

- If you notice black grains in the water, don't worry, these are activated carbon particles that are used to reduce odor and chemical substances in the water. Due to their fragility during transportation, it's recommended to discard the first two filtered water when first using the filter. These carbon particles are harmless and will be excreted from the body if accidentally ingested. 

- Do not use hot water above 100.4 ℉ (38 ℃). 

- Change the filter every 60 gallons or approximately every 60 days. 

- To properly use the filter for the first time, clean it with running water for one minute, then soak it in water and shake it gently for one minute. This method will ensure that the filter doesn't leak and provides a smooth flow of filtration.
